According to our sources close to the situation, Black Lives Matter New York City Chapter Co-Founder Hawk Newsome who real name in Walter was arrested with a number of protesters during a demonstration in Chelsea, New York City.

A NYPD representative said Mr. Newsome was arrested and charged with obstructing governmental administration and two courts of disorderly conduct for allegedly blocking traffic when he and other protesters was ordered to disperse.
