According to TD Bank, the Mary J Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation For The Advancement of Women (F.F.A.W.N) owes them a total of $250.000 for a loan that the foundation received from them a few years ago.
The Bank filed a lawsuit against the Foundation in the state of New York claiming that the entire balance should have been paid in December 2010.
A spokes person for the Foundation stated that they are looking into the matter and reiterated that the organization is totally committed to the advancement and development of all women.
