According to TMZ and other sources close to the situation, Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman who starred in the Hunger Games and other block buster movies was found dead of an apparent heroin overdose.

Sources are also saying he was found in his bathroom with a hypodermic needle in his left arm.

Law Enforcement officials said they allegedly recovered 10 bags of heroin in the apartment, 8 of them were empty.

A toxicology report is schedule for today to determine the official cause of death.
