Bernie Madoff the Ponzi Scheme Mastermind who was sentence to 150 years in federal prison has died, last year Bernie Madoff asked the Judge to have some compassion and release him from prison so he could died at home, the judge denied his request.

Mr. Madoff who made billions during his ponzi scheme in the 2000's has died in a North Carolina Federal Prison, he was 82 years old.
