28 year old Floyd Corkins II was identified as the man who shot a Security Guard inside the Family Research Council in Washington DC.
According to the Associated Press, Mr. Corkins was a dedicated Activist for the Gay, Lesbian and Transgender Community.
Witnesses said once he was disarmed, he stated,
"don't shoot me, it was not about you, it was what this place stands for"
Federal Authorities are saying that this may be a case of Home Grown Terrorist.
