According to Court documents, Lauryn Hill was sentenced to 3 months in Federal Prison for
Tax Evasion.
She compared her situation to Slavery and her Lawyer pleaded with the Judge to have Mercy on her but, to no avail.
She did manage to raise $970,000 of the $1,000,000 that she owed the Government.
Lauryn Hill must report to Federal Prison by July 8, 2013.
