According to sources close to the situation, Love & Hip Hop reality star and former owner of the Source Magazine, Benzino was shot while attending his mother's funeral.

Unconfirmed reports are suggesting that Benzino's nephew 36 year old Gai Scott allegedly pulled up along side of Benzino's SUV and opened fire.

Benzino was shot in the arm and taken to South Shore Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Gai Scott is said to be in police custody.
