Mayor Bloomberg has decided to cancel the New York City Marathon that was schedule for Sunday 11-03-2012.
His decision came in the wake of Hurricane Sandy's devastation.
The Mayor said the focus should be on the Victims of the Hurricane and the rebuilding of the City.
The Marathon will probably be reschedule at a later date.
