According to our sources close to the situation, Music Mogul and Record Executive Clive Davis who launched the careers of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Kelley Clarkson and a number of other singers has died after being hospitalized for a upper respiratory infection. 

The Legendary Music Executive was 94 years old.
