According to South Beach Police, The New York Knick J R. Smith was arrested after he was pulled over on a routine traffic stop. A Police spokesman said that the basketball star had an active warrant for not appearing in court on a driving without a valid license charge.
Mr. Smith was booked in Dade County and released a short time later after posting bail.
