Brooklyn Center police Officer Kim Potter who shot and killed Daunte Wright during a traffic stop was charged with 2nd degree manslaughter. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension took her into custody today, police officer Kim Potter said it was an accident and she thought she shot Mr. Wright with her taser gun and not her service firearm.
