Pat Houston the sister-in-law of Whitney Houston had her people approach Ray J at the Billboard Awards and threaten to physically remove him from his seat because she felt that he was a bad influence on Whitney's life.
Ray J refused to relinquish his seat and showed the Billboard house security his ticket stub to solidify his position.
Pat realized that her gangster like tactic would only create a big controversy at the Billboard Awards at a time when the focus should be on Honoring Whitney Houston's life.
