President Barack Obama has asserted Executive Privilege for the first time since taking office in 2008.
The Executive Privilege will allow him to withhold classified documents that the House Committee is seeking from the Attorney General's Office in the Fast and Furious Gun Smuggling Case with the Mexican Cartel that went bad.
The Deputy Attorney General James M. Cole stated that his office has tried everything to satisfy the House Committees inquiry and is pleased with the Presidents decision to assert EP.
